Day 4: Lesson
I fully expected to get the refunds today, even though there was no real reason the vendors had to give me a refund, except that I asked, and I already knew I had received.
After I spoke to all 3 vendors I needed refunds from, I reflected on how easy it had been. I was kind to the customer reps that I spoke with, and it was smooth sailing. No issues. No delays.
It reminded me of something my dad always said to me when I got angry:
You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
When you are kind to others, the universe responds in kind, and mirrors back to you what you put out – more kindness.
As you travel on your journey, keep sight of your destination, but know that you will need others to help you reach your goals. Treat everyone on your path with kindness and gratitude. It will be a much more joyful ride.
