Feel It, You Must. Have It, You Will.

Day 15

Today was spent setting up my social media pages. Who knew there was so much work to do to put one little blog together? Good thing I love doing this stuff. There’s something very satisfying about seeing your vision materialize into a physical, or in this case, digital product – going from having a thought, to watching it become a thing. That is creation. Period. The thought always precedes the thing, in fact, it creates the thing. That is the law of attraction.

What you focus on with your thoughts and feelings is what you will attract and create in your experience. The universe reflects back to you what you’ve been holding at the deepest levels of your consciousness.

Since I began this one woman show two weeks ago, my thoughts have been intensely focused on everything it takes to publish this blog, from site creation, to writing daily posts, to publicizing it, and everything in between. I have rediscovered a buried passion, not only for writing, but also for the technical side of this process. I really love building something out of nothing. I’d say I’m pinging the universe with a pretty strong positive vibration. And doors are opening. I am attracting the ideas, people and tools I need to make it happen.

I’ve had a desire to write a children’s book series for a few years now. The idea is still marinating in my mind, so I’ve kept it on the back burner, knowing that I definitely wanted to revisit it at some point. But, a seed was sown in my subconscious.

Today, that seed sprouted. Sister #1, who has been my muse throughout this process, suggested that I write a children’s book series. I have never told her about my desire, and she framed the concept in a way that made my idea click. Now I’m ready to move forward with it. Inspired action.

Why now? Because we are like magnets, attracting back what we think about. Like attracts like.

What you feel you are always dominates what you feel you would like to be; therefore, to be realized, the wish must be felt as a state that is rather than a state that is not.

– Neville Goddard

OMG. I get it. I have been feeling like a writer, so I have become a writer.

When I came up with the idea to do 365 days of positivity, I had no idea it would lead to writing my children’s books series. Everything happens in it’s perfect time. Divine time. I’m starting to see how the threads of the larger plan are being woven together to create my perfect path. I can see how the road blocks and detours from the past led me here.

If you could look at your life in hindsight from a bird’s-eye view, and see all the dots of experiences, events, decisions and disasters woven together, you would be awe struck by the absolute beauty and magnificence of the tapestry that was undoubtedly crafted by the mastery of the most skillful tradesman beyond your wildest imagination.

– Rajni Kurichh

I still have to do the writing. I have no doubt that the universe will open every door and attract all that I need to materialize my childrens’ books.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  1. Yes, I recently discovered the daily post challenges too and love the daily prompts and have been trying to do them every day. I appreciate you offering your help it really means a lot to me as I am technically not very savvy but am learning! Can’t wait for that positivity journey book, but first I need to delve into all 365 days of your journey on Kurilane 🙂 It’s taking time but I’ll get there! It’s a daily inspiration for me.

  2. Thank you Amanda. Wow, we are definitely in synch! 🙂 I’d be happy to help you with the technical side if you need help. Also, I only recently discovered the Daily Post, which offers all kinds of challenges to help you interact with the WP community. Check it out if you haven’t already (https://dailypost.wordpress.com). I wish I had known about it from Day 1, but like you said, timing. Re: kid’s books, it’s on the back burner for now, I have some ideas but haven’t had time to do much with them. I’ll focus on the kids series after I write the positivity journey book.

  3. I absolutely LOVE your quote at the end and I am so grateful you recommended I specifically read this post because I feel like it speaks to me. I think we really are in sync. I feel I am going through that same journey now having just started my blog the past month and really only been putting in the daily work the past few weeks. It has re-opened by passion for writing that seemed to have slipped away over the last couple of years and I have discovered a new found love for technology that I never had. In fact, I hated it and the first week or two of trying to create my own blog I was discouraged time and again because at first I couldn’t even figure out how to post! So far it’s been a magical journey and I hope it continues to be for me the way it has been for you. I love reading your blog so much and wish I was there following from the beginning but I remind myself everything happens for a reason and it just feels like the right time where all of your messages are really resonating with me. I’ve also always dreamed of writing a children’s book, strangely enough, and a novel and haven’t though about it in a while until reading your post. Has the idea formed? Are you currently working on a series? If so, please let me know and keep your readers updates as I’m sure I am not the only one who would love to read it (I love reading children’s books) 🙂
