I was lucky enough to catch a showing of The Little Prince Film this weekend. If you know and love the novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, then you are in for a real treat with this big screen adaptation that brings the story to life in a whole new dimension, full of imagination, magic and hope.

My message for the last few days has been about remembering childhood dreams and passions in order to find purpose as an adult, as well as finding love within. It’s no surprise that I attracted a film that has the same themes. The message of this story is to remember what was important to you as a child, and to remember to appreciate those things as a grown up.

The movie portrays how adults get caught up in what they believe to be “essential”, and lose their sense of wonder, excitement and joy for what appear to be the little things. We are reminded that what makes things special is the time and care we put into them – the love we hold in our hearts. Ultimately, we go on a journey with the characters and come to the realization that life is already full of love, wonder and magnificence. We must remember that love resides within, we must remember that we are eternal beings, we must remember how much we have to be grateful for.

Gratitude is the single most important vibration that the universe responds to. When you are grateful for what you have, the universe showers you with more reasons to be grateful.

Remember the love within, focus your time and attention on all the things you already have to be grateful for. No matter where you are in your journey right now, there is always something to appreciate. Look up at the sky and see the beauty and magnificence of the stars. Look at your loved ones and see a place to rest your heart. Take a moment to examine what is really essential.

Look with your heart. You will see all that is right with your world.
