Day 101

I’m still a few days behind and playing catch up on the blog. I got behind because my computer wasn’t working, and it still isn’t, so it’s been difficult to get my daily blogging momentum back. Now it’s at the point where I have some serious writer’s block, and I’m feeling pressure to produce before I get so far behind that I won’t be able to catch up.

I’ve been writing, deleting, writing something different for a while now, so I decided to change my focus and just let go. I know that when I’m stuck the best thing to do is to just let go and let the Universe do it’s thing. Of course, right after I did, I came across a short video with a powerful message about letting go that got the writing juices flowing. Synchronicity.

The Universe always responds to your desires, you just have to pay attention.

We’ve all heard that we should do what we’d do if we only had a short time left to live, but not everyone acts on it. Sometimes it doesn’t seem possible, we have mortgages and responsibilities that keep us tied to our current lifestyle. Even if you’re not ready to take the big leap of faith and make a drastic change in your life, why not find small ways to do what you’d do if you only had a short amount of time to live – because you do, life is short, it goes by very quickly. There is no time like the present to make the most of every minute.

The video gave me the idea to create a “To-don’t-do list“, and as I started to write, the words “don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today” kept running through my head – that’s my whole list. It made me think of Madonna’s song Spotlight.

The lyrics are a pretty awesome To-don’t-do list:
