Unlimited Potential

Day 290

“Beyond the mind, at the deepest level of consciousnesss, resides the spirit. This is the part of us that is eternal, unchanging, and imbued with pure unlimited potential. Tapping into this potential is what enables us to manifest miracles.”

– Deepak Chopra

It never gets old to hear a story of an older person who has achieved great things beyond the age that we’ve been conditioned to believe is “past our prime” (pun intended).

I often write about how everything we do has a purpose – all of the skills we acquire through our experiences ultimately help us to succeed. It’s all part of the process to help us discover our passions, and realize our desires.

It may not always feel that way, because we all fall down along the way. We must remember to trust the process, and never give up on our dreams. That’s exactly what this 80-year old silver fox did. Take a look at what Deshun Wang has to say about his time to shine, 60 years in the making.

“Believe me, potential can be explored. No-one can keep you from success, except yourself. I’m Deshun Wang. I’m the fiercest.”

– Deshun Wang

Have faith that the threads of the larger plan are being woven together to pave your path, and all the road blocks and detours along the way are meant to lead your to your day in lights.

Trust in the Universe; it is always working for your highest good.

  1. Thanks Smiling Pilgrim! I’m glad to hear it – I just learned about The Daily Post challenges this week, wish I had known about them when I started my Positivity365 project on Jan 1st! Better late than never 🙂 I’ll have to check out your blog too! It’s the Dyad Theme.

  2. I did an online course about ageing and it was uplifting. There are so many possibilities. There is a good TED talk by Laura Carstensen about why older people are happier 🙂

  3. I went to college, for the first time, in my forties…Graduated with a degree in Education and now I’m in a Master’s program…we are never too old!!!
