“Come into the silence of solitude, and the vibration there will talk to you through the voice of God.”
– Paramahansa Yogananda
I love the change of the seasons. Every season has it’s own beauty and magic to share. Autumn feels like a time to rejoice in nature’s bounty, as well as a time to reflect in the quiet and stillness of the season.
My BFF took today’s feature image this afternoon, out enjoying the fall colors. Being out in the midst of the beauty of fall helps to clear the mind, and let go of worries. It brought back memories of a carefree childhood – I remember playing in a big pile of leaves as a child. It was pure joy.
“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.”
– John Muir
There’s something magical about walking in the woods in the fall – the sound of leaves crunching under foot in the silence of the forest, the crispness of the autumn breeze, the feeling of coziness, sugar and spice, and the hint of mystery in the air – it almost feels like time stands still, and the secrets of the Universe whisper in your ear.
…Or maybe it’s the voice of God.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
