If you’re like me, change isn’t your favorite thing, to put it mildly.
I. Do. Not. Like. Change.
We are creatures of habit and we’re afraid of change because it’s difficult – it means leaving your comfort zone and embracing the unknown. The good news is that every time you leave your comfort zone, you expand your circumference of comfort.
As soon as you step into the unknown, it becomes known, and it’s not so scary anymore.
The hard part is getting to the point where you find out all is calm and bright outside your comfort zone. And that’s what today’s principle of positivity is about – Change Is A Decision.
I would hazard to guess that you’ve heard today’s feature quote at some point in your adventures. You probably even agree with it. I’ll even go so far as to say that you probably think it’s a brilliant quote, considering how prolific it is.
The question is, how many people actually embrace Gandhi’s sage advice in action.
If you want to change your circumstance and fortune, so that all your days are merry and bright, you’ve got to do something differently than you have been doing.
The something that must change is your thoughts. Your world experience is the outpicturing of your thoughts and beliefs, so when you decide that things will be different, and expect a different result, that’s what you’ll get.
As soon as you make a decision to have a different experience, the right people, resources, and circumstances will appear to make it happen. Are you ready to embrace your brightest future? You decide!

Beautiful post and absolutely true Change is Inevitable and must change to have a better life for oneself and it has to come from within and then one has to take a great leap to bring about a difference in one’s own life. Awesome quotes Rajni. Great post.
So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

This line of thought is so similar to the post I was writing earlier today for tomorrow’s posting 🙂 I’m encouraged to see that our minds are somewhat in alignment today, haha.
