Hi, Iā€™m Lillie. Previously a magazine editor, I became a full-time mother and freelance writer in 2017. I spend most of my time with my kids and husband over at The Brown Bear Family.

Hi, I’m Rajni Kurichh. Welcome!

I’m a human advocate, an animal lover, and a passionate vegan. I believe that there is magic all around us, and that miracles can, and do happen every day, for everyone. I’m an avid student of all things law of attraction. I believe that we are spiritual beings, who are experiencing a physical expression of our greater selves here in this 3rd dimensional space. I believe we all have the power within us to create anything we want in this life.

But, I didn’t always think this way. In fact, if you had told me that I could think my way into abundance several years ago, I would have laughed at you, told you to find a good shrink, and stay off the sauce!

New York, New York

You see, up until then, I’d created a pretty successful little life for myself by actively pursuing my dreams and making them happen, through what I thought was conscious action.

At the height of the tech bubble, I made a snap decision to move to Silicon Valley, which led to many great opportunities. Eventually, I ended up in Manhattan. In a short time, I worked my way up to senior management, and had just moved from my midtown west apartment to Tribeca. I had arrived! All the perks of living in the greatest city in the world were at my fingertips. I made it.

And then I quit.

Daddy’s Little Girl

There wasn’t a single day in my life that I didn’t talk to my dad.

Not a single day. Ever.

My father was my mentor, my teacher, and my best friend. I regularly bounced ideas off him, and consulted with him before I made any major life decisions. In June 2009, when he returned to his eternal spiritual form, it shook the foundation that I’d built my life on.

Soon after, I decided to leave the corporate world to discover my passion. That decision led me on a path into a world of unlimited possibilities, full of hope and magic. I was finally starting to wake; it was the beginning of my spiritual awakening.

I had no idea what my purpose and true passion was, so I began with what I knew – cooking. Culinary school was the first stop on my journey. There were a few others stops along the way that eventually led me here.

A Place To Call Home

Kurilane was born out of an idea to allow only positive thoughts to form in my mind, every day, for a year. You can read the details of my project, Positivity 365 here.

What else will you find here at KL? Stories, anecdotes and real life experiences that will help you on your own path. I will continue to expand the site to include more avenues for you to explore. You’ll find inspiration, encouragement and tools to guide you to your destination, and you’ll be able to read about where some fellow travelers have gone. I’ll share some of my recipes and adventures on the path to veganism, and fresh new ideas to help you along the way to embrace your own journey.

Happy Travels! šŸ™‚

  2. It is so nice to meet you and read of your story. I use to be in the corporate world also, but quit. My life is full of surprises, but not a lot of money. I am living with a friend, homeless. I hope to follow my passions as I attend college to get my Maters in HR. I pray you be blessed as you follow your path and share with all of your readers. I am so glad I stopped here. Happy Holidays, you are special, a great cook and my new friend, xoxo Jackie
