“To really be free, You need to be free in the mind.”
– Alexander Loutsis
With thoughts of what we can learn from animals still fresh in my mind from yesterday’s post, I watched Ippa explore today. I noticed how freely she moves about, completely fearless, without a care in the world, confident that all her needs are taken care of. She lives in a state of boundless abundance and faith.
It made think about what we could achieve if we approached life through the same lens; completely free. In a state of total freedom, a zero state, there is no judgement, and without judgment, there are no limits to what we can achieve. The limits we place on ourselves in our minds are the only obstacles in our path that stop us from achieving anything we want. So, freedom of mind is the key to manifesting the life of our dreams
Free your mind, and you will manifest all of your desires.
We are all on a quest to find happiness, that is the ultimate desire. No matter what our objectives are, we are motivated to achieve them because we think they will make us happy, and happiness lies in our ability to be free. If I drill down to the root of any desire, I find freedom at the heart of it; it doesn’t really matter what the desire is, whether it’s financial, physical, spiritual, personal or professional, the desire is ultimately the soul’s desire to be free.
A desire for unlimited financial abundance is really a desire to be free to live the life we want.
A desire for a perfect body is really a desire to be free of judgement.
A desire to know Who We Really Are is really a desire to be free of limitations.
A desire to be loved is really a desire to be free to express ourselves.
A desire to be successful is really a desire to be free to face the world and be Who We Really Are.
“The freedom we are looking for is the freedom to be ourselves, to express ourselves.”
– Don Miguel Ruiz
So, how do we get to a state of freedom in our minds?
We must let go of all the limiting beliefs we have. Here’s how:
Be mindful of your thoughts. When you are aware of the chatter in your mind, you will be able to recognize a limiting belief when it shows up.
Trace the origins of your beliefs. Was this a belief you accepted from someone else? Was it based on an experience you had? Is it a commonly held belief that you’ve just never questioned?
Test your assumptions. Does your belief still hold up to your new experiences? Can you see a situation where it doesn’t ring true? Have others shown proof contradicting your belief?
Change your thoughts. You can re-program your subconscious mind to believe your new ideas. Reinforce them with visualization and repetition. Find evidence in the world around you to help anchor your new beliefs.
Have faith. You will free your mind of the obstacles in your path to reaching your goals.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
