Day 141
“Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”
– Albert Einstein
We live in a world of illusion. It’s no more real than the sets in Hollywood, yet most of us are unaware of the transcendental truth from which the illusion of physical reality flows because we are conditioned to believe otherwise. Our thoughts and beliefs literally hold the world around us together. Fortunately, we have the power to lift the veil of illusion by simply remembering the truth of Who We Really Are.
And who are we? We are a part of Original Source of All Things. We are a part of All That Is, and we have chosen to come to this illusionary world of time and space to experience that which we cannot in our eternal spirit form.
Blog Beats: Just An Illusion by Imagination
I often write about the fact that we are spiritual beings here to have a physical experience, and how there are no coincidences, that the world we live in is Divine Perfection, and that everything we experience is necessary to lead us to our passions, our desires, and ultimately to our purpose.
As I was thinking about these things today, something clicked in a way it hasn’t before, and I gained some new perspective on why things don’t always go the way we want them to. I’ve often said that the Universe does not judge, that there is no real “good” or “bad”, and we’re here for the experience.
What clicked today is that our experience is our purpose. We are here to experience everything we experience, not just the things we think we want to experience. It’s the reason that surrendering to the Universe is so powerful – because we wrote our own script before we got here and it is unfolding exactly the way we wrote it, with every “mistake”, “bad choice”, “awful situation” intact, because that’s what we wanted to experience.
That doesn’t mean we can’t rewrite the script, we can. Just as we created this life with our thoughts, we have the power to change the script with our thoughts. Knowing that our experience is our creation frees us from the limitations of time and space. It means we don’t have to suffer when “bad” stuff happens. If we can just remember we wanted to know what this particular thing felt like, we can relax into it, and allow ourselves to focus our awareness on feeling the experience because when we return to our spirit form, that’s what we’ll want to know – how it felt.
When you let go of all the illusions of this imaginary world, you remember that you are a truly powerful creator and you can create whatever you want in this world…Just imagine what you can create if you’re conscious of your Divine Self.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
