Let’s face it, life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, but we are given the opportunity to improve and become the best possible version of ourselves everyday – that’s what focusing on the positive is all about.

When we are faced with challenges, we can choose to be more, do more, strive for more. Often, we don’t really know what we’re made of until we face a hardship, and we surprise ourselves with how much strength we have.

I came across these two stories that made me cry – a lot. The first story of this poor dog breaks my heart, and the second story in the video below, of a reunion between a mother and her child is heart warming.

In both of these cases, the people involved were given an opportunity to improve the situation, and spread light and joy. Not only did their choices impact the innocent animals, but they have had an effect on me – a stranger thousands of miles away.

We all have the power to make a difference. When we spread our light, it reflects back into our lives and enriches everything around us. The choice is yours. What do you choose?
