Feed The Wolf.

Day 61

“There are two wolves inside who are always fighting. One is darkness and despair. The other is light and hope. The question is: Which wolf wins? The one you feed.”

– A Cherokee Parable

I wrote four different articles on four different topics for today’s post but not a single one was coming together because I was trying to address too many ideas in each post. Whenever that happens, I find that if I walk away for a little while and then come back with fresh eyes, I can get it to flow fairly easily. That just wasn’t happening today, so I decided to “go fishing”. As soon as I posted my gone fishing message, my mind instantly flashed the words Let Go and Let God. I’ve been thinking about writing a post about letting go in order to flow for a while because I have witnessed this every time I experience writer’s block. As soon as I stop trying, the words flow. Always.

So I thought, ok, I’m back in the flow, I’ll finish writing my article, but something told me to pause and let things flow. Instead, I finished reading a book I started a couple of days ago. The first page I read was about letting go. Hmm. It went on to say that our path to abundance is to act on our ideas, which come to us by Divine Grace. I finished that book and randomly started reading another book that I started a long time ago, and just haven’t felt like reading again until today. I opened up to the page I left it at months ago and this is what I read:

The Nine Rules of Coincidence

  1. There are things that like to happen together.
  2. Thoughts are actions and produce effects.
  3. Coincidence multiplies when we are in motion.
  4. Life rhymes.
  5. The world is a forest of symbols.
  6. Every setback offers an opportunity.
  7. To find our way, we may need to get lost.
  8. Look for the hidden hand.
  9. The passions of the soul work magic.

– Robert Moss, Three “Only” Things: Tapping The Power of Dreams, Coincidence & Imagination

I took a pause because I was lost. I had written my own words, the exact words of #7 above in one of my posts today before I read it in this book. The feature image I was planning to use for today’s post was a picture of a forest of California Redwoods (#5). My writer’s block offered me the opportunity to get clear (#6). The rest of the rules above also apply but I won’t list them all.

After reading for a bit, I decided to watch a movie that I’ve been wanting to see but I was never in quite the right mood to watch until today. Tomorrowland is about believing that every little thing you do can make a huge difference, about not giving up, about believing in your dreams.

Ok, there’s just so many signs here. What is the message the Universe is sending me? I believe the message I am meant to share today is this:

Listen to your thoughts.
Act on those great ideas you have, they are Divine inspiration given to you directly by our Creator.
Act.
Act fast. Don’t wait until you talk yourself out of it. Don’t doubt yourself. Don’t let anyone else talk you out of it.
Have faith that once you act, the Universe will conspire to make it happen.
Have faith.
Let go.
Let go and let it flow.
Let God.
Live in a mental state of abundance, always.
See the signs. The Universe is always communicating with you through pictures – within and around you.
When things don’t go your way, Surrender.
Accept the block and go with the flow. It may take you to a better place than you could have imagined.
Follow you passion, it’s food for your soul.
Dream. Dream big. And believe it can happen.
Feed light and hope.
Feed the right wolf.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  1. Love the picture you chose of the wolf, simply breathtaking. And yes, it is amazing we really do seem to be on a similar path and share a lot of the same ideas in some posts, this one in particular with the message “feed the right wolf”. I believe we are all connected and if you are in tune you can access the collective subconsciousness that we all share and that you do attract those that hold the same energy as you. Essentially “you attract what you are” (or what you think you deserve).
