“The closer you come to knowing that you alone create the world of your experience, the more vital it becomes for you to discover just who is doing the creating.”
– Eric Micha’el Leventhal
I recently finished my Lose Your Mind, Find Your Soul series, which focused on clearing limiting beliefs that were formed at a young age. I’ve also written several posts to inspire you believe that it’s not too late to pursue your own dreams by sharing examples of adults who’ve manifested their desires because they believed that anything was possible when they were kids.
All of these posts are written for grown ups – although my blog is mostly kid-friendly, it’s not really aimed at a PG-13 audience. However, I do have a desire to write children’s books that will inspire their young, impressionable minds to believe that anything is possible. So, I’m writing this mini-series called I AM Everything, aimed at helping you encourage your kids to be all they can be.
Historically and culturally, young girls have been given mixed messages about what they can and should do as adults, compared to their male counterparts, who are more often encouraged to excel in various fields. Thankfully, that’s changing in the media and corporate culture alike, and with more and more amazing female role models to look up to, the next generation of young girls will grow up knowing that there are no limits to what they can achieve.
One company that has influenced the imaginations of generations of young girls, and had an impact on what they aspire to become as adults, has finally hit a home run with a positive message aimed at inspiring young girls to let their imaginations take flight, and soar to unlimited heights. Take a look at Mattel’s re-imagined Barbie ad:
Mattel has presented young girls with a new way to play and interact with Barbie, unlocking their imaginations, and encouraging them to visualize their own greatness; to know they can be anything they want to be.
There is power in the words ‘I AM’ – it’s a creative force. When you begin a sentence with ‘I AM’ you send a message to the Universe to go to work to manifest your proclamation.
“You ARE the light of the world. What you proclaim through your verbalizations of ‘I AM’ exposes, illuminates and clearly reveals the underlying cause which initiates the creative process, producing EVERY event, condition and circumstance in YOUR life just as you proclaim and believe it will…without fail and with unwavering certainty.”
Encourage your children to write down their dreams, and to use their imaginations to believe that they are what they dream of being. One day, you might just be sharing their drawings with the world, and recalling how they achieved the greatness that they become.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
