I’m Grateful For It All

Day 329

“Give thanks not just on Thanksgiving Day, but every day of your life. Appreciate and never take for granted all that you have.”

– Catherine Pulsifer

It’s Thanksgiving in the U.S. today – a day when people take time out from the crazy in their lives to think about what’s really important to them; to reflect on what they’re grateful for. It’s a day filled with food and festivities, love and laughter.

Although it’s a time to count your blessings, it can be stressful and chaotic. One way to relieve the stress when the overwhelm starts to set in is to take a minute to breathe and focus on all the good in your life. As I’ve said many times, gratitude is the single most important vibration that the universe responds to. When you are grateful for what you have, the universe showers you with more reasons to be grateful.

As we kick-off the holiday season with this day dedicated to gratitude, I’m sharing some thanksgiving quotes, and one very special video. Enjoy!

“Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days of the year because it reminds us to give thanks and to count our blessings. Suddenly, so many things become so little when we realize how blessed and lucky we are.” – Joyce Giraud

“Thanksgiving Day is a good day to recommit our energies to giving thanks and just giving. ” – Amy Grant

thank-you-mantra“You may have heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. There’s another day you might want to know about: Giving Tuesday. The idea is pretty straightforward. On the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, shoppers take a break from their gift-buying and donate what they can to charity.” – Bill Gates

“I love Thanksgiving because it’s a holiday that is centered around food and family, two things that are of utmost importance to me.” – Marcus Samuelsson

“Thanksgiving just gets me all warm and tingly and all kinds of wonderful inside.” – Willard Scott

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
