I’m running behind on my posts due to preparations for the holidays, but like I say, there are no coincidences, and of course, there’s a good reason I didn’t get this post out yesterday.

I finished creating the feature image and joyful day artwork yesterday, but I didn’t get time to write the post. It was meant to be a message to remind you that it’s ok to say no, and to set boundaries for yourself. When I sat down to write it this afternoon after I got home from my final pre-Christmas errands, I didn’t feel like it was a very festive message, yet, I felt that it was an important principle to include in my year review, and I still wanted to use my artwork for this post.


It occurred to me that I’ve often written about the importance of taking time out to relax and recharge, but it wasn’t on my list of principles of positivity. Then I realized that these messages are two sides of the same coin, so I combined the message, created one more image and bada-bing!

Today’s post is a perfectly-timed message to remind you that no matter how busy you are this season, and throughout the year, it’s important to take some time out to unwind; to create balance in your life, and part of that balance is to set boundaries for what you take on, whether it’s for others, your work, or anything else.


Don’t forget to take some “me” time this holiday season, and every season – not only does it make you feel good, it attracts more things that make you feel good into your life!
