Perfume & Pearls

Day 10

I woke this morning and discovered that I didn’t win the lottery. Isn’t that fantastic?

No, I haven’t lost it.

Nobody else won either. You know what that means?

The jackpot is now worth $1.3 BILLION!! And growing.

You know what that means?

By the time of the next draw on Wednesday, the estimated cash value after taxes will likely be over a billion dollars!

You know what that means?

Winning a billionaire dollars is not only possible, it’s a reality! O. M. G.

I had started to call this post Dirty Little Secret, because I thought it’s a catchy title, likely to pique your interest. Then I became all too aware of what lingering limiting beliefs must be hidden behind that choice of titles.

Do I have limiting beliefs that are blocking me from reaching my monetary goals and desires? Like many of us, I have received messages all my life about how money is evil and materialistic. We use phrases like “filthy rich”, and “stinking loaded rich”. Let’s face it, even people who say they aren’t interested in money wouldn’t say no if someone handed them a billion dollars, so why don’t we refer to wealth with expressions like “righteously rich” or “fragrantly rich” or “rich as roses”?

I now know that money isn’t “bad”, it’s just energy. And not only that, but abundance is your divine birthright. Yes, I said birthright. And, it’s ok to have it, to enjoy it, and even desire it.

Now that I’m aware of these limiting beliefs, I need to tap, to clear them from my subconscious, and reprogram my underlying beliefs to match my new thinking.

Even though I believe having unlimited wealth is bad, I deeply and completely love and accept myself…

I must admit, there is some doubt creeping in about winning. I will have to work on removing the blocks as much as I can for the next few days, and really try to imagine that I have already received.

On a positive note, I am genuinely feeling nervous about being bombarded with requests for donations, and being in the media spotlight. I know, that doesn’t sound like a positive thought, but it is, in the context of feeling that I have already won. And, I am thinking about assembling my team of financial advisors to help me get myself set up before claiming my prize. Another sign that I do believe!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
