Day 29

We live in a world of magic. Miracles happen every day, all around us, to us. We manifest miracles with our thoughts. You see, all of creation already exists, and is stored as memories, deep in our subconscious minds. When we have a desire, we are communicating which memory we would like to access, and when we visualize, we go into a state of mind that opens the door to those locked memories; a theta brain wave state. Then the universe conspires to manifest our desires by bringing all corresponding thoughts into our consciousness. Once we have the inspired thoughts in our conscious awareness, we can act on them to realize our dreams. This is inspired action; but it’s up to you to act on your thoughts to bring about miracles. No matter how small or insignificant a desire is, your subconscious mind goes to work to pick out the necessary information to create it. Rest assured, you will not be acting alone. You will attract the right resources, skills, ideas and people needed to make your dreams a reality. When you experience delays and blocks to achieving a goal, it is simply the universe at work putting all the pieces into place.

Yesterday, for no apparent reason, I went through my site to change some images from previous posts, and then remembered that the font on the post from last Sunday didn’t look right. I found the code that was causing the problem and removed it; satisfied that it was fixed, I put it out of my mind.

This morning, I learned that Paul Kantner returned to his spiritual form yesterday. It got me thinking about my favorite Jefferson Starship song, Miracles.

Of course, I immediately thought of the synchronicity of the song with my blog. As the lyrics were running through my head, I had a not so random thought about how I could use a special font for my home page and KL Guests welcome message. When I wrote the text for those pages over 3 weeks ago, I wanted to use a special font but the site wouldn’t let me. When I contacted support, they said it was not possible, so I posted the home page text as an image; which meant that the content was not searchable. I ended up using the default font on the KL Guests post, but I wished I could have used my special font. Now the thought just popped into my head from nowhere – it is possible; if I can remove a font, then I can add one too. I just have to add the same code that I removed into the pages that I want to have my special font.

How did my mind instantly go from listening to a song to a totally unrelated thought that wasn’t even in my conscious awareness? When you are in a relaxed state of mind, you let go of your conscious awareness and enter that theta brain wave state and are able to access thoughts that are locked in your subconscious. Music puts us in that state of mind. So, while I was engrossed in my song, my mind went to work to put the pieces together to fulfill my desire to use my special font. Once all the pieces were in my conscious awareness, although seemingly unrelated, they all fell into place, and with a bit of inspired action I was able to figure out how to do it. Now both pages are sporting searchable text in my special font, like I originally intended. Nothing is impossible.

Some may not see this as a miracle, or anything to write home about, but I see the brilliance in the sequence of events that led to solving a minor problem; how every single thing that we experience is not without purpose. This is an everyday miracle.

When you start to see the little things that you experience every day as miracles, you are training your mind to focus on the positive.

The more positive thoughts you have, the more you will attract, bringing more positive memories to your awareness, and more desires into your experience. It’s like training a muscle, the more you work on it, the stronger it becomes. Soon, those little miracles will become an avalanche of positive forces at your fingertips. It’s all a matter of how you look at it.

My focus on positivity is bringing every day miracles into my experience every day. I know they will continue to come, and grow into bigger miracles. You never know where your inspiration will come from. You may be listening to a old song, appreciating the talented musicians that brought it to fruition, and then a miracle will manifest without any effort at all. That’s the way the universe works. Keep your thoughts positive, your dreams alive, and your mind open to recognize when to act.
