Shine

Day 91

“Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us.”

– Wilma Rudolph

Today is a big day for me, Kurilane has reached it’s first quarter milestone. Three months of positivity, and going strong. As I reflect on how this project has affected my thinking, my behavior and my patterns, I see concrete changes in the way I perceive things, in how I handle setbacks, and how I define myself.

At the beginning of this week, I started thinking about what I wanted to write for today’s special post. I wanted to talk about embracing your journey, the power of positivity, and the perfection of the Universe. It got me thinking about what the re-occurring messages of the 96 posts I’ve written to-date are.

Wow. I’ve written 96 posts in three months! Good job, Rajni. 🙂

My message is about how powerful our thoughts are, about knowing that you can change the world with your thoughts.  In almost every post, there is an underlying message to believe – to believe in yourself, to believe in your dreams, to believe in your ability to achieve anything you want. Along with that, I’ve tried to impress the importance of accepting yourself, warts and all, just the way you are, right now. Acceptance is the first step to achieving your dreams. Equally as fervent is my call to action to follow your bliss and be your best self, because living a life of passion is the only real purpose there is.

I try to offer you inspiration to wake up to Who You Really Are. We Are Creators, We Are All One, We Are All The Same.

I’m passionate about how important it is to live in the now, and find happiness in every moment because even when it seems difficult or challenging, it’s exactly where you need to be. The Universe is Divine. Divine Perfection.

I’ve learned first-hand that happiness really is a decision. If you choose to see the good in everything, you will find it. I offer examples from my own experience to illustrate how to see the good in everything. I want you to know that resistance is a gift, that obstacles don’t last, but they serve a very useful purpose. They bring your limiting beliefs to the surface, where you can heal them, clearing the fog so you can see the road map to your own greatness.

My message is about listening to your inner voice, your greater self. Listen. Always listen, you have all the answers within. Always.

No matter what your desires are, no matter what you’re trying to achieve, or heal, or let go of, there is complete perfection in the Universe in this moment, in every moment. The perfection we seek in life, in ourselves, in others, is found in our imperfections. Don’t wait for the perfect time, it never comes. Let your colors burst.

Right. Now.

The human spirit is truly amazing. There are so many stories of people who are living examples of this greatness, and I’m going to end today’s post with a few of them.

The first story I want to share with you is of a young woman who grew up with a prosthetic arm, and found freedom, acceptance and belonging of herself by making a decision to overcome her challenges, pursue her passion, and make her dreams a reality. Take a few minutes to listen to Shellyza Murji tell her amazing story.

The interviewer, Raj Girn, has an amazing story of overcoming hardship to find her passion and voice as well. She went from wife and dental hygienist, to single mom, founder and CEO of a successful multimedia company, and kick-ass Punjabi Diva!

Raj Girn

The next story is of one of this season’s Dancing With The Stars cast members, Nyle DiMarco, who, despite being deaf, has accomplished so many amazing things, and being an amazing dancer is one of them!

Finally, a message from motivational speaker Jay Shetty about how we define ourselves, the paradox of our times, and how we can change the world we live in, simply by changing our thoughts.

Believe in the greatness of the human spirit. Believe in Yourself. Shine.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
