Day 109
“I am no longer cursed by poverty because I took possession of my own mind and that mind has yielded me every material thing I want, and much more than I need. But this power of mind is a universal one, available to the humblest person as it is to the greatest.”
– Andrew Carnegie
I’m so excited! A man contacted me through my blog today asking for help to support him and his mother. He said that he’s in dire straights and needs me to send him $6500 USD right away.
Yes, I realize that it’s a scam and he’s just blowing smoke…but a couple of things had to happen before I could receive the request. First, he had to find my website, and then he had to look through it enough to come to the conclusion that I am financially prosperous. It’s a sign from the Universe that I am on my way to manifesting my desire for abundance, success and prosperity. So cool.
We live in a world where we are quick to judge people who have attained success and financial abundance. There is a widely accepted belief that those who are wealthy or seek to be, are somehow lacking in morality.
There is no shame in striving for success or wanting abundance. Abundance is your birthright.
The thing is, if you’re starving, depressed, lonely, homeless or in any state of lack, you are not going to be thinking about philosophical righteousness, you are going to be thinking of how you can get out of your current state of lack. Only once you’ve satisfied your needs, and whet your appetite can you even begin to think about self-actualization, and the lofty goal of attaining spiritual enlightenment. And the only way you can get out of your state of lack is to change your mindset.
You must start to see the world in a different light in order to experience the world in a different light.
If you want abundance, be grateful for what you have.
If you want to be joyful, choose to be positive.
If you want social acceptance, love yourself.
These are the realizations that many successful people come to before they achieve their success; in order to achieve their success. In fact, many people who were homeless, depressed, drug addicts or afflicted by a nearly fatal disease experienced such incredible transformations once they discovered the power within, that they made it their life’s work to spread the message of positivity.
The Universe does not judge. It does not care if you are rich or poor, pretty or not, fat or skinny, tall or short, famous or unknown. It does not decide to bestow gifts on a few “chosen” ones. It does not consider any one being more “privileged” than another.
I’m not rich, I didn’t grow up rich, but I have every intention of creating abundance in every area of my life so my physical experience accurately reflects Who I Really Am – An Unimaginably Powerful Creator. I intend to be prosperous and abundant in every facet of life on this earth, and to enjoy every experience I wish to have in this illusionary material world.
Achieving my desires will not change who I am, it will simply illustrate that I am awake to the truth of my being.
When I realize my desires it will not make me any more privileged than anyone else, and if I don’t realize my goals, it will not make me any less privileged than anyone else. We all have access to the same privilege, it’s not out there where only some people have access to it, it is your power within. It is in every one of us, bar none, ready to manifest your desires. No exceptions.
To date, everything I have, I’ve earned through determination and hard work. Where was the law of attraction when I needed it? Seriously, even though I didn’t know about the law of attraction while I was out making my thousands, it was working, as it always is, because that’s kinda how laws work by definition. Whenever I was focused on my goal and believed I could achieve it, it did materialize, and whenever my doubts and limiting beliefs took the fore, they manifested my reality.
Whether you experience success or failure, your reality will reflect a mirror image of your thoughts and beliefs, in exact proportion to your thoughts and beliefs.
If you feel like you always get the short end of the stick, look inside and find out if you believe you always get the short end of the stick. And then let go of that belief because it no longer serves you.
Instead, believe that you have the power to yield every thing you want, and much more. Because you do. Only you do.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
