“Success in life is founded upon attention to the small things rather than to the large things; to the every day things nearest to us rather than to the things that are remote and uncommon.”
– Booker T. Washington
I started to make small changes towards my health and fitness goals a few weeks ago, and I am noticing that those baby steps have had a ripple effect, and I have begun taking steps towards manifesting some of my other desires simply by making small changes that have had big impact.
“Even the largest avalanche is triggered by small things.”
– Vernor Vinge
Sometimes we get stuck in automatic behaviors without even realizing that we’re doing it. These behaviors or habits make our lives easier because the brain doesn’t have to think to perform the act, it goes into auto-pilot to perform the habit, but they aren’t necessarily helping to improve our lives or getting us closer to our goals.
Although some habits are harmless, others can turn into self-sabotaging behaviors that can be harmful, or deter you from manifesting your desires. You can do small things to change automatic behaviors, and improve your life, one small step at a time.
“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.”
– Vincent Van Gogh

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
