“The wonderful thing to understand here is that the energy that you radiate or send out attracts other situations, events, persons, etc., which are in harmony with your internal energy field.”– Baker Jacinto
Have you ever walked into a room and felt tension, or met someone new and were instantly attracted or repelled for no apparent reason? Well, there is a reason – there’s an invisible energy field around us sending out invisible forces that correspond with our feelings and beliefs – what we commonly refer to as vibes.
I’ve written over 222 posts in as many days, and I’ve noticed that whenever I share a personal story that has universal appeal, the response is always very positive, because not only can people relate it to their own lives, but I’m expressing my inner truth, and that raises my vibration.
“When we allow ourselves to be authentically free, it raises our vibration.”– Alaric Hutchinson
We feel energy regardless of how we experience it; whether it’s in print, face-to-face, on the big screen, or an inanimate object, and we are attracted to authentic energy. That’s why some people are more popular than others – the people that draw the biggest pull are the ones who are focused on being themselves, and doing what they love. When you are ‘being yourself‘, you radiate light, and people are magnetically attracted to you.
We’re seeing some great examples of this magnetic attraction this week at the Rio Games. Olympic athletes, by definition are chasing their dreams, and doing what they love, and it shows with the overwhelming support they receive from their peers, fans, and the public in general. Many vendors are taking advantage of this positive energy to attract more business too.
Coca-Cola knows the importance of being real – authenticity attracts joy; and that’s exactly what Coke wants you to feel when you think about their beverages. Partners of the Rio Games, Coke’s Taste The Feeling ad campaign can harness the energy of the athletes to attract more business. Their message is very effective: Be real together, feel together, be unstoppable. Notice how this ad campaign focuses on “real” people, not air-brushed models? Take a look:
It’s kinda funny to talk about being yourself, who else could you possibly be, right? Being real is about letting go of inhibitions, and getting in touch with your authentic self – not the self that you think is socially acceptable, or the one that you’ve been conditioned to believe you’re supposed to want to be.
“We have to dare to be ourselves, however frightening or strange that self may prove to be.”– May Sarton
We radiate energy based on what’s going on inside of us. When you are able to let go of the “should’s” and “supposed to’s” and “what will people think” and “people-pleaser” versions of yourself, and be who you really are, no holds bar, you radiate authenticity, and you really are unstoppable.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
