Day 214
“Never tell a young person that anything cannot be done. God may have been waiting centuries for someone ignorant enough of the impossible to do that very thing.”
– G. M. Trevelyan
I believe that each of us has our own unique greatness to share with the world. To share that greatness means we have to be willing to reach new heights, to try things that we think are too difficult to accomplish – things that are seemingly impossible. But first, we have to shatter the belief that certain things are impossible.
“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!”
– Audrey Hepburn
Like most of the limiting beliefs in this Lose Your Mind, Find Your Soul series, this belief, a close cousin of ‘I can’t‘, is rooted in fear; fear that we are not enough, fear of failure, fear of the unknown. The difference between ‘I can’t’ and ‘it’s impossible’ is that one has been done by others, and you believe you don’t have what it takes, and the latter is a belief that it cannot be done by anyone, ever. So, in order to shatter it’s validity, you can’t rely on finding proof in the world around you. You need another way to believe it can be done.
Tapping on the specific desire that you believe is impossible will clear the limiting belief. Using your imagination and visualization, you can program the belief that anything is possible. The Universe always responds to our desires, so have a little faith, surrender to the infinite possibilities that await you, and believe. Believe that you can do whatever you set your mind to, take action, don’t let obstacles stop you, and before you know it, you will have made the impossible possible.
“So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable.”
– Christopher Reeve
Check out this great Coca-Cola ad showing us what we can do when we don’t even know there’s such a thing as impossible:
“There is nothing impossible to him who will try.” – Alexander the Great
“The only place where your dream becomes impossible is in your own thinking.” – Robert Schuller
“The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible and achieves the impossible.” – Anonymous
“We would accomplish many more things if we did not think of them as impossible.” – Vince Lombardi
“What we can or cannot do, what we consider possible or impossible, is rarely a function of our true capability. It is more likely a function of our beliefs about who we are.” – Anthony Robbins
“We have more power than will; and it is often by way of excuse to ourselves that we fancy things are impossible.” – Francois Duc De la Rochefoucauld
Clear the “impossible” limiting belief, and know that you are an incredibly powerful creator, capable of achieving anything you believe you can.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
