Instinctive Joy

Day 346

“When you reach the end of what you should know, you will be at the beginning of what you should sense.”

– Kahlil Gibran

Like I said the other day, all of my 31 Principles of Positivity are intertwined. When you begin to practice positivity, you naturally begin to practice all of them. One of the most obvious principles that goes hand-in-hand with positivity is mindfulness because when you focus on the positive, you are more conscious of your thoughts. With mindfulness also comes the awareness of your inner voice, and the courage to start listening to it.

I say courage because we often give much more importance to logic and reason than to intuition. We tend to think that intuition is some kind of mystical thing, and not something to be relied upon. However, we’re beginning to understand the awesome power of intuition; we’re beginning to understand that it’s actually our internal guidance system.

When we listen to our inner knowing rather than our rational minds, it will always lead us to our highest good. If you’ve ever had an experience where you had a feeling about something, but your rational mind had a different perspective, and you chose to follow your mind rather than your gut, only to find out that your intuition was right, you know what I mean.

The sole purpose of our intuition is to guide us towards fulfilling our desires and living the life of our dreams. Learn to trust your instincts.

“There can be as much value in the blink of an eye as in months of rational analysis.”

– Malcolm Gladwell

When we get past the busy-chatter of our minds, we can hear the whispers of our souls. That little voice inside moves us towards the things that bring us joy – that’s the wisdom of our higher selves.

Are you ready to tune in to your highest truth, and let it guide you to a life better than you could’ve imagined?

  1. I think that the mind bases its judgement on the facts known to it, following intuition we touch the knowing which stands behind the facts and is unlimited, we make contact with the whole.
