The primary message of my blog is that you create your life with your thoughts and beliefs, and you have the power to change your life by changing your thoughts, and clearing your limiting beliefs. Unfortunately, some people get stuck on the first half of that statement, and think that it means that the “bad” stuff that happens in their lives is their fault.

That’s not at all what I’m saying. It’s not your fault.

I don’t believe in fault to begin with, as I’ve said many times before, there is no real “good” or “bad”, there is no judgement, everything is just experience. In line with that, we all hold beliefs that are ingrained in us from a young age, from our experiences, and from a myriad of other sources. Often times, they’re not conscious beliefs, but they shape our experiences nonetheless.

Having said that, I do believe that our experiences are a mirror reflection of what’s going on inside – but that does NOT mean it’s your fault.

It’s not your fault!

So, how do you figure out what’s going on in your subconscious, and move your life in the direction you want to take it? I listened to a podcast about transforming beliefs today, and the speaker, Steve Wells, shared his view on how to identify what’s lurking beneath the surface at around the 17:30 minute mark. Here’s how:

3 ways to identify / discover your unconscious beliefs and blocks:

  1. What irritates you about others? The things that irritate us about others are the things we don’t like about ourselves. Believing that the qualities that irritate us in others don’t exist in us, creates a separation from others.
  2. Get into a relationship. Your partner, especially a romantic partner will bring up your blocks. Conflicts in your relationships are mirrors reflecting back what you need to release.
  3. Set a big goal. Your blocks will come up to justify why you can’t achieve your goal. The first blocks to surface are your identity beliefs. The reason you came up with that specific goal is because at some level you know that you need to release that blocked capacity within you.

The bottom line is that we are All-Powerful Divine Creators. Let go of the thoughts and beliefs that are masking your true splendor, and bask in your greatness!

    People can be guiding souls to show us what we need to heal in ourselves – by getting on our nerves!
